BOTOX® Cosmetic from Allergan is the most popular cosmetic enhancement in the world. It is used to smooth out fine lines and lessen the appearance of dynamic wrinkles. It has also been used successfully in the management of hyperhidrosis, or excess sweating of the hands, feet, and armpits. Dr Gupta's advanced techniques produce results in 3-4 days and typically last between 3-4 months. It is wise to stop taking aspirin or ibuprofen-like products for two weeks before injection to decrease the risk of bruising.

These are topical treatments with dilute organic acids that help polish the outer layers of the skin. Some peels even help reduce acne breakouts. Glycolic, Lactic, Salicylic, and TCA acids are commonly used. The results are a toning and texturization to the skin. Downtime is minimal with very light redness noticeable for 1-5 days.

Fractional CO2, PhotoPeels and PhotoFacials

Our state-of-the-art fractional CO2 laser results in visible improvements in skin tone, texture, tightness, and coloration in as little as one week. Bridges of normal skin are left in between spots treated by the laser that allow a reduction in healing time and a reduction in the risks of laser treatment: prolonged redness, pigmentation abnormalities, and scarring. Dr Gupta has been training other Plasic Surgeons to use resurfacing lasers for over a decade and brings that experience to body areas such as the face, neck, chest, and hands all showing significant improvements in the visual repair of sun damage after the use of the laser.

These new, safe fillers produce natural-looking results nearly immediately. Results from scientific studies show up to a year of persistence in the nasolabial fold after injection. Innovative methods developed by Dr Gupta result in minimal bruising and redness for short periods of time after injection making it possible to get treatment in the morning and go out that evening looking fabulous. As with all injectible fillers and BOTOX® Cosmetic it is wise to stop taking aspirin or ibuprofen-like products for two weeks before injection to decrease the risk of bruising.

This is an injectible filler made from calcium hydroxyl apatite (similar to tooth enamel) that is biocompatible with the human species. It is FDA-approved for injection into the nasolabial folds for lessening the signs of aging in the central face. It is used off-label in many other areas of the face and is a great product for use in the rapidly progressing field of facial volume restoration without implants.

It is possible to perform small areas of liposuction to obtain your own natural fat and use this fat to volume augment areas of the face that are looking more hollow and deflated: forehead, temples, upper eyes, lower eyes, cheeks, lips, chin, and jaw line. The procedure is simple to perform under local anesthesia in the office. Several grafting sessions may be necessary for larger augmentations. Some portion of the fat graft is permanent, but it is difficult to predict who will have persistence. It is very natural in its feel, appearance, and aging characteristics.

For some, all the exercise in the world won't remove stubborn fat deposits. Removal of localized fat deposits in areas such as the jowls, neck, chest, bra rolls, abdomen, love handles, and thighs can add the finishing touch to all your hard work in the gym. Clothes tend to fit better and silhouettes in your dressier outfits look better. Depending on one's job, return to work can occur in as little as 3-5 days. Final results however, can take several months.

Dr Gupta has performed over 500 local anaesthetic facelifts on his patients over the past decade and has worked hard to improve both the technique and the outcomes of this operation. As we age volume loss in the face coupled with the effects of gravity on skin that has lost its elasticity results in sag in the cheeks, jowls, and neck. State-of-the-art techniques in minimally invasive facial rejuvenation are employed by Dr Gupta to "Reset your clock" on your face making you look like yourself, only refreshed. Often these procedures can be performed in the office with local anesthesia and oral sedation (Valium) resulting in an easier post-operative course with less downtime than traditional facelifting surgery. Results are comparable to those obtained with traditional facelifting surgery but may not be long lasting in those with severe sun damage and/or a long-standing history of smoking.

Hooding of the upper lids and bags/saggy skin of the lower lids make the eye appear smaller and less distinct. This is another procedure that can be safely performed in the office under local anesthesia with oral sedation. Downtime for the upper lids is usually 7-10 days, but for the lower lids can be as long as six weeks.
